Jim Kiley
Yes.. we all know how good Jim Kiley is at 3-Wall. 1 of 6 South Australians to win an Open Singles title and 1 of 4 South Australians to win multiple Open Singles titles. But arguably most impressive accomplishment of all, Jim is the only South Australia to win a 4-Wall Open title, which he has won 2 times (80, 84). Jim’s all round game has propelled him into elite company by where he stands alone. His game and legacy will never be forgotten.
Jim was a master of the spin; if it was off the serve or during the rally, Kiley’s ability to spin the ball either direction and at any time made him a serious problem. Opponents would constantly be on their heels, trying to anticipate the spins and angles Jim would conjure up. It was pure magic.
A Wallball legend, thank you Jim Kiley for your brilliance.
