Jeff Wu

Jeff commenced his handball journey in 1983 at Rostrevor College. Jeff then made the Junior State Team the following year with his old mate Dazza Lord and they travelled to Victoria for the Australian Championships. In 1984/85 season Jeff joined the South Adelaide Club and played only 3 senior games in the SAHA Pennant Comp. In the 85/86 season Jeff was a bit more serious playing the full season and has subsequently played every Pennant Season since notching up 36 consecutive years.

Jeff stayed with South Adel for the next 19 seasons and then had one season with West Adelaide, one season with Rostrevor and returned to South Adelaide in 2006. At the 2005 Australian Handball Championships in Adelaide, Jeff just missed in making the SA State Team. During the Championships, Jim Comrie's partner Phil Greco was injured in an early O'Connor Cup game leaving Jim without his designated partner for the Australian Open Doubles event. Jim then called Jeff from the sidelines as he had played with Jeff very successfully all Pennant Season. They subsequently went on to win the Australian Open Doubles Championship.

Over his Handball journey Jeff has been involved with State Committee and made the SA State Team on 5 occasions and earning 3 Australian Eight Teams.
