Jack McCarron
Jack came into contact with Handball as a student at Rostrevor College. In 2008 Jack made his first State Junior Team with his first Jnr Championships played in his home town of Adelaide and that same season was a member of the then ‘Red Bulls’ Pennant Team. Jack played as junior for another 3 years and in his final junior year he was transferred to the Wakefield Handball Club in 2011 and in that same year won the State Junior Singles Title.
From 2013 through to 2015 Jack was taking on the big boys and gradually improving and honing his own game style. At this time a number of young players including Jack were lifted into competing in the A Grade Pennant.
After only playing a small number of games in 2016, Jack came back in 2017 and played top Handball and had a stella season picking up the:
- J.M Foley Most Improved
- State Open Double Title in partnership with Dom Morabito
- Selected in his first State O’Connor Cup Team.
Over the last few years Jack has added to his Handball resume with another selection in the State O’Connor Team and State Singles and Double ‘A’ Titles and is now a strong and dangerous competitor in the A Grade Competition.
With 4 years as a junior representative and now 10 years in senior competition Jack has become a very valuable ‘Player Asset’ of Wallball in South Australia and Australia at large.
