Gio Raimondo

Gio is a clean ball striking South Australian who was the best of a new generation of Australian Wallballer's. A Vanguard, he partnered with a 10 year old Brodie Winter and led them to victory, winning two under 19 doubles titles in 2013 and 2014. During those years, Nick Santilli was Gio's greatest rival, meeting in multiple finals events, it was a determination of who had the edge and who had next.

Furthermore, Gio has become the face of Australian Frontball; now representing Australia in the last two International Frontball Invitationals. He has bridge the gap between the two sports and has established a connection to a budding sport with unlimited potential. Gio and Brodie re-united the partnership in Mexico City for the Frontball World Championships where they represented with passion and pride.

Gio was also a pioneer into Wallball Australia entering the digital age; recording and documenting State and National competition on YouTube. What he started back then, has led to what we have accomplished today.
